A track = a parallel area of work within a project (e.g. “Research” and “Build” at once); a card = a single task your agent runs.
When you hit your plan's limit, nothing disappears — only creating new resources is paused, with a clear message, until you free up space or upgrade. Today we only enforce the “1 project” limit on Free; the track and card counts on Free and all Pro/Team numbers are a preview that takes effect when paid plans launch.
Honest about cost: your agent sleeps for free when there's no work for it — it wakes on a board event. A subscription plan doesn't eat into your message limit while it sleeps, and your own API key doesn't run up a bill.
